Front sight dove tails are 0.375" wide, screw mount front sights use a 8-40 UNEF screw size.

S-101 Ramp Front Sight

                   

Same as S-106 below, except uses a screw to attach to barrel directly, no dovetail.

 Detailed Instructions

    To change the front sight inserts, push down on the front sight spring S209 and slide the front sight hood S215 forward until it clears the inserts.  Lift up the insert desired and turn down all others.  Replace hood.


S-106 Ramp Front Sight

       

Has dovetail that drives into barrel slot; ramped base screws to dovetail; sight has choice or 4 reticules, thin, thick, pin & ball, aperture; all reticules pivot on shaft running length of sight; sight has removable hood; stamped steel.


S-109 Front Sight

      

Screws into barrel with one 8-40 UNEF screw; stamped steel, single post.


S-121 Front Sight

   

Base is held in place by a shoulder on the gold bead front sight which screws into the barrel.  The hood locks into the base with 4 small feet.  Stamped steel construction.


S-122 Front Sight

       

Dovetails into barrel, slotted for sight hood, used on early US Property 44 training rifles.


S-133 Front Sight

Dovetails into barrel, gold bead, flat top Partridge blade.

S-320 Ramp Front Sight

   

Dovetail that drives into barrel slot, the ramped base screws into the dovetail.  The sight has choice of 2 reticules, pin & ball or aperture.  Both reticules pivot on a screw headed shaft that runs perpendicular to the rifle bore through the sight base.  The sight has removable hood, milled and stamped steel construction.

 Detailed Instructions

    To change the front sight insert, loosen the lock screw on the side of the front sight.  If the bead is in position, push it toward the rear of the rifle and the aperture will come up.  If the aperture is in position, push it toward the muzzle and the bead will come up.  After selecting the desired insert hold it in place and tighten the lock screw.
