Model 6 with Wards No. 10 Mount

           

   

4x, scope was made from 1935 to 1940. It has a 3/4" diameter tube and is 15 3/8" long. It has no internal windage and elevation adjustments. The adjustments are made on the mount.


Model 6A scope and Mount

3x-6x, scope was made 1938-1940.  It has a 3/4" diameter tube, 1" ocular lens and is 15 1/4" long. It has no internal windage and elevation adjustments. The adjustments are made on the mount.


Model 6C scope and Mount

4x, scope was made 1935-1940.  It has a 3/4" diameter tube and is 15 3/8" long. It has no internal windage and elevation adjustments. Micrometer click adjustments are made on the mount.

4x, scope was made in 1946.  It has 3/4" diameter tube 14.5" long.  Two piece internal eyepiece tube with separate nut, replacement of front focusing bell with adjustment screw and plate, micrometer click adjustment for windage and elevation, no graduated yardage indicator.


M4c

          

    

4x, scope was made in 1949.  It has 3/4" diameter tube 14.5" long.  One unit internal eyepiece tube with integral retaining ring replacing separate  tube and nut combination.


M4d

        

4x, scope was made 1952.  It has 3/4" diameter tube 14.5" long.  Change in internal adjustments, recessed click screws with coin slot groove, change in reticule housing.  As changes occurred, the new designations became: 5M4a, 8M4c, 7M4b, etc.
